Congratulations, <<First Name>>!

You have been accepted as a member of the Academy of Educators.

Read on for an invitation to the Alan W. Cross Evening of Scholarship, a reminder of membership expectations, and ways to get involved today!

You're invited!

The annual Academy of Educators Evening of Scholarship is a celebratory event for members. Join us Thursday, June 1st, 2023, 5:30 – 8:30 pm as we recognize our new members (you!), honor colleagues who have been leaders in effective teaching and learning in medical education, and enjoy fellowship with other AOE members.

Membership Expectations

Acceptance to the Academy brings expectations of continued leadership in educational initiatives and active participation in the Academy programming. A minimum of four events are required annually, June 1 - May 31. Two (2) of these can be viewing the event recording on the AOE website, whereas two (2) should be attended synchronously. Events are offered live, virtually, and on-demand via our Workshop Recordings page. Credit for events can also be earned by participating in AOE service activities advertised in our weekly email.

Please be sure to keep track of your attendance at AOE events. Should a member be unable to meet these requirements, their membership will be considered suspended until the required number of events per year (June 1 – May 31) are completed.
