Our search committee developed a rubric with six areas that included the experience and skills that we are seeking for the next division chief.
  • Administrative leadership managing faculty and staff in a complex environment
  • Successful research career as measured by publications and grant funding
  • Clinical leadership experiences that might include strategic planning, innovative care models, and quality improvement; national guideline development
  • Educational achievement that might include director roles and teaching awards
  • Evidence of commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Mentorship experience
We realize that these six areas cannot be evaluated in depth by a lecture.  If you have comments that would help us in these areas, please be sure to include them.  Your feedback is important to us!
