There was a great atmosphere at the club on Friday night for the Members Draw, but we didn't have a winner!!
Attention Sailors!
After the completion of what seemed to be a successful sailing season the MYC Race Committee and the Rear Commodore are open to any comments and suggestions for next year’s program. The committee will be meeting towardsthe end of June to finalise the program for next season, so now is your opportunity to provide input.  Please send through to the Rear Commodore by 20th June so it can be considered, thank you!

Mornington Winter Music Festival
This year, on the Kings Long Weekend, the Rocks and MYC are supporting the Mornington Winter Music Festival and will be hosting a fantastic jazz/blue band "The Bluetone Assembly" on the afternoon of Sunday the 11th of June.  Please let your friends and family know, we'd love a full house!
The show will start at 3.30pm and finish at 6.30pm

We are hosting a "Chatty Table" at MYC - everyone is welcome!
This Friday the 2nd of June, MYC is hosting a "Chatty Table" in conjunction with our Members & Friends lunch.
The Chatty Table Scheme is a Health promotion charity to help connect communities and increase social interaction by getting people chatting! 
All MYC members and members of the community are invited to come along on Friday the 2nd of June.  Just head to the members bar at 12pm and find Jackie & who is a Volunteer from the scheme and she will be sitting at a table displaying the yellow "Have a Chat" table signs!

Dogs are now allowed on the outside deck!

Great News!  Well behaved dogs are now welcome on our outside DECK.  Please keep your dog on a lead at all times and entry must be via the outside steps in the yard ONLY. (Not during busy times ie. Thursday nights during sailing months, and please respect the staff if asked to leave due to boisterous behavour).

Due to foodsafe standards dogs are NOT allowed in the members bar or to enter via the front entrance.
Thank you for your co-operation, we look forwards to meeting your furry friends!

Safety Beach Berth available!
Coast Guard, Safety Beach have a berth available at 110 Clipper Quay - which is on the west side of the fairway more or less opposite the seaward end of “C”arm.
It is a gated entrance from a vacant block, access and car park (no more than 2) on Clipper Quay
It is available from 1st June

Brass Monkey Winter series 2023
With the first race 20/05/2023 abandoned due to inclement weather to be sailed on a date to be advised, here is the entry list for the series. There will be 5 races comprising the series. The races will be on short courses up to 12 nm around Dromana Bay fixed marks with PURSUIT starts, first boat off at 1100 hrs.  READ ON>
SBSC Winter Sailing
Safety Beach SC would like to extend an invitation to all MYC yachts to sail with them during the winter months with the first race scheduled for Sunday the 21st May.  Please see the above winter program which can also be viewed on the club website at SBSC Winter Program 2023

"Friday Night Footy" @ MYC
Stay after the members draw or come down around 7.30pm and have some Footy Fun at MYC!  The game will be played on the big TV screen, wear your team colours, everyone welcome!  Bring your friends and family and enjoy the Friday SPECIAL "Parma, Chips & Salad" in the Member Bar  (normal menu still available).

The Rocks will now be closed every Tuesday's until further notice.  The Members Lounge / Rooms are still open to members, please remember to BYO food / drinks, and your fob will open the main front door if you come outside of office hours.
