Chesterton, IN – 4th Street Theater is proud to present their upcoming production of the comedy The Revolutionists written by Lauren Gunderson. Set in the midst of the French Revolution, this powerful play explores the lives of four women who come together to fight for their freedom and their beliefs.
The story revolves around the characters of Olympe de Gouges, Charlotte Corday, Marie Antoinette, and Marianne Angelle. Although each woman comes from a different walk of life, they share a common goal - to bring an end to the brutal and oppressive regime of France's rulers. Their courage, wit, and determination make them the perfect embodiment of the human spirit and inspire us all to fight for justice.
With its incredible script and talented cast, The Revolutionists promises to be an unforgettable event. The production is directed by Linda Pauli of Chesterton and features Laura Blythe of Porter, Shannon Angel of Glenwood IL, Lisa Zandy of Dyer, and Helana Taft of Chesterton, who have put in months of hard work to bring the play to life. Their dedication and passion for this project are truly remarkable, and the result is a performance that is both powerful and moving.
