Dear Residents,

Presented below are community updates for your information.  Please share this information with your neighbors that may not be signed up to receive email notifications from the Association

Lost and Found
Over the last several months, numerous items have been turned into the Site Office that were left on or around the courts at the Swim and Tennis Center.  If you have lost an item at the Swim and Tennis Center, please email us at concerns@LMROA.com with a description so that we can check our Lost and Found.

Pet Stations
Earlier this year trash cans were placed around the Community, along the trail on Turtle Point Drive on the eastern side of the community and at holes 3 & 4, holes 17 & 18, and on Spyglass Hill Loop just past the roundabout on the western side of the community, for the convenience of disposing of pet waste.  When using the pet stations throughout the Community, please replace the lid in order to avoid cans from filling with rainwater.  Please dispose of pet waste appropriately.

Clearing vegetation on neighboring properties
As comprehensive inspections are underway, it has been noted that many homes that back to the golf course or HOA common area have been removing or pruning back trees, shrubs, and other vegetation that are not on their property.  Residents are not to make any modifications outside of their own lots.  If you are unsure where your property ends, you can order a home survey or look on the Prince William County mapper website.  Encroachment onto neighboring properties can lead to violations and possible fines.

Community Speeding
Occasionally we receive complaints regarding speeding in the Community.  As a reminder, the Community speed limit is 25 MPH.  Prince William County Police and supplemental patrols by the Sherriff’s Department are conducted throughout the community on a regular basis.  Failure to obey traffic signs and speeding are the primary offenses noted when a traffic stop is made.

Swim and Tennis Center
On occasion the Association receives reports from residents about persons using the Swim and Tennis facilities who may not reside in Lake Manassas.  If you have visitors using the facilities – whether it be the tot lot, tennis courts, basketball courts (or when in season, the pool), -- even if you have their name on your GateKey account -- they cannot use the recreation facilities without being accompanied by a resident.

Residents:  If you see suspicious activity or have concerns about anything or any persons whether it be at the Swim and Tennis Center or anywhere else in the community, please contact the Prince William County Police (non-emergency) at 703-792-6500.  If you are unwilling to call police, please call the Baltusrol Gate attendant (703-754-9465).  Provide the attendant with your name, address and phone number and tell them what you witnessed/why you’d like the police called.  While the Association appreciates being alerted to concerns there is little action we can take after the fact.  It is best to have your concerns addressed as they arise by contacting either the police or gate attendant.
