What a full week of Rugby and Mum love.  It started on Wednesday night with Waratah and Wallaby Lachie Swinton visiting training to impart some wisdom.

On Saturday and Sunday, if you were lucky enough to have a game down at Tunks Park you would have been on the receiving end of some delicious treats and sparkling goodness.  Just the sort of stuff that makes playing Rugby on Mothers Day weekend THE BEST!

In case you have not felt enough love over the week, have a listen to some of the small and not so small Pirates tell you exactly why Pirate Mums are special.

Over the last few weeks many of our Junior players have been trialling to make either the State Cup (U10’s and 11’s) squad or State Championship (U12-16’s) squad to represent Norths Juniors.

We congratulate all players who gave it their all and did the Pirates proud. There is always stiff competition when looking to extend yourself and make a representative team and not everyone can be successful, to those who did not get selected this year, keep positive and work hard and the rewards will certainly come your way.

To those players and families who have been selected, we wish you all the best in whichever team you play, at whichever tournament.

Play hard, fair and do your best.

Good luck Pirates 🏴‍☠️
