SHAMBHALA SUNDAY WITH RACIAL JUSTICE & DHARMA
at Still Mind Zendo NYC
Sunday, June 11th
1PM - 3PM

Taking Our Seat: Exploring Engaged Buddhism
with Joy Gutierrez and Alison Pepper

You are warmly invited to join us in-person for our next Shambhala Sunday happening on Sunday, June 11th at 1PM at Still Mind Zendo!

Open to meditators of all experience levels, Shambhala Sundays offer us a chance to practice and study together, meet and connect with other members of our community and refresh our sense of well-being, goodness, and sanity.

On Sunday, June 11th, the New York Shambhala Center is very glad to welcome Joy Gutierrez and Alison Pepper from Racial Justice & Dharma

This afternoon will consist of meditation, embodied practices, and conversation that will allow us an opportunity to explore what Engaged Buddhism means to us, individually and collectively.  Bring your open mind, heart, questions, and concerns. Beginners to meditation practice and anti-racist work are all welcome.

Shambhala Sundays will continue to occur every second Sunday of the month. We begin with sitting and walking meditation practice (1-2PM), followed by a talk or workshop and discussion.  Refreshments will be served after the talk.

Guided meditation instruction will be available. If you are new to meditation you may also want to consider joining our online Learn To Meditate class on one of the preceding Tuesdays. Click here for more information about Learn to Meditate

We hope you can join us on June 11th. For registration and more details, please click here.
