Please join us at the Air Quality & Sustainable Mobility (AQSM23) workshop for a day (in person!) of timely conversations, networking, and innovative solutions with diverse leaders working in air quality, mobility, climate change, public health, and equity. See below for a preview of several industry leaders who will be participating at this inaugural workshop on May 23 at the Mitchell Park Center in Palo Alto.

  • Patrick Burt is Board Chair of the Santa Clara County Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). He has an extensive career as a high-tech entrepreneur, elected official and environmental policy leader.  He will be a part of an expert panel discussing “Transit Innovations.”  

  • John Ford is Executive Director of Commute.org, where he is responsible for the overall operations of San Mateo County’s dedicated transportation demand management (TDM) agency. John will be leading the session, “Bridging the Last Mile: Scaling and Equity for Last Mile Solutions.”

  • Kim Springer, Transportation Systems Coordinator at the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG), where he works on transportation, energy, water, climate, equity, as well as state and federal advocacy. Kim will be leading the session, "Finding A Way Forward: Climate Action Planning?"
