MAY NEWSLETTER
As May starts to wrap up and we head into June, we want to take a moment to boost the 30th Anniversary event series we have planned! As you know, Rondo CLT is turning 30 and we want to invite you to celebrate with us. We have three events planned:
  • 30th Annual Meeting: On June 22, Rondo CLT will host its 30th Annual Meeting where we will seat new board members and share our Annual Report with leaseholders, board members, and partner organizations.
  • 1041 Selby Block Party: On July 22, we will celebrate Rondo CLT “block party style” with BIPOC- owned food trucks, a beer garden, live musical performances, and interactive community art projects.
  • First Annual Gala: On a later-to-be-revealed date in the fall, the year’s celebrations will culminate with our first ever Annual Gala. More information (including the date!) to come.
To help ensure these events are a success, we have extended sponsorship invitations. For our newsletter this month, we'd like to acknowledge and thank US Bank and the Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundation for sponsoring our 30th Anniversary. If you are interested in supporting us by donating, please reach out to Noah Bauer, Community Engagement Specialist.

$1 billion housing omnibus bill
On May 14th, MN Governor Tim Walz signed a $1 billion housing omnibus bill into law to support affordable homeownership and rental opportunities. Upon signing the bill, Walz noted, "Housing is central to growing our workforce and ensuring Minnesotans' health, safety, and financial security. Whether it's building new housing infrastructure, providing rental assistance, or ensuring homeownership is an option for all Minnesotans, this bill will have a historic impact on the quality of life in Minnesota and move us towards becoming the best state to raise a family." Please Consider Supporting our Work

Rondo CLT builds community wealth and neighborhood stability through the development and stewardship of perpetually affordable homeownership opportunities, rental housing, commercial space, and other community assets.

Each new property that enters the community land trust starts a cycle of affordability for generations of low to moderate income earning families and local small business owners. Your donation makes all of this possible. Thank you.
