Koinonia Prayer List

PRAYER REQUESTS (joys and concerns) should be called in or e-mailed to the church office. With your permission, they will be listed in the Koinonia prayer list, and announced in worship so that the church family can pray for the mentioned needs. Please keep the office updated on the requests.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.   Romans 8:26

  • From the Presbytery of the Ohio Valley (POV) - Fairview Presbyterian Church, Princeton, Fairview Presbyterian church is a rural parish located in Gibson County, Indiana, between the towns of Princeton and Francisco. Established in 1895, it continues to have a vital ministry to the local area. Averaging over 40 in worship, the church maintains a Sunday school, youth ministries, and an annual Vacation Bible school, as well as hosting many social events. The original church structure burned due to an electrical fire in 2004, but a new worship space and community center was built and is debt-free. The church family is known for its welcoming atmosphere, vital spirituality, and strong personal connections. Fairview is actively seeking a new Pastor. We are currently having guest speakers and retired Ministers along with congregation members sharing their walk with Christ.

Weekly Prayers
Morning:

O God, Who art the unsearchable abyss of peace,
the ineffable sea of love, the fountain of blessings,
and the bestower of affection,

Who sendest peace to those that receive it;
open to us this day the sea of Thy love,
and water us with the plenteous streams
   from the riches of Thy grace.
Make us children of quietness, and heirs of peace.
Enkindle in us the fire of Thy love; sow in us Thy fear;
strengthen our weakness by Thy power;
bind us closely to Thee and to each other
   in one firm bond of unity;
for the sake of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
   -- Syrian Clementine Liturgy.

Evening:

O Sovereign and Almighty Lord,
bless all Thy people and all Thy flock.
Give peace, Thy help, Thy love unto us,
Thy servants the sheep of Thy fold,
that we may be united in the bond of peace
and love, one body and one spirit,
in one hope of our calling,
in Thy Divine and boundless love;
for the sake of Jesus Christ,
the great Shepherd of the sheep.
Amen.
   -- Liturgy of St. Mark.
