‘Supercharging’ Innovation: U.S. Department of Commerce Launches $500M Tech Hubs Funding Opportunity

The DOC's Economic Development Administration is kickstarting its Tech Hubs program—part of last year's $10 billion CHIPS and Science Act—to ignite innovation in regions across the nation. Phase 1 of the application process is open. Groups of organizations, called consortia, are invited to make their mark. Tune into a webinair on May 18 to dive deeper into the possibilitites.

UTA Team Gets Nearly $3M From DOE To Develop Data Center Cooling Tech

July 14 is when they stormed the Bastille, but this year people may be storming Grapevine Mills mall instead. Because that’s the day Meow Wolf Grapevine’s “The Real Unreal” is opening after years of preparation.  

“As participants investigate these portals to the unknown, they will explore rooms that are both unfamiliar yet accessible through unforgettable psychedelic art,” Meow Wolf says.

Sheehan calls it "a cosmic odyssey where surprises await around every corner, and each discovery sparks its own story."

It's not just any opening—it's a date with destiny.
