Not registered yet? Book your place by 30 June 2023

It's getting closer to September when we will be welcoming you to the next BSN annual meeting at the University of Exeter. The meeting will highlight the latest neuroendocrinology research with a strong focus on our early-career researchers.

NOTE: All tickets to the conference dinner have sold out; however, you can still register for the conference.

Conference highlights include:

Decoding the Biological Clock: Exploring the Genetics of Human Reproductive Ageing
Anna Murray | Public Lecture

Find out how understanding the genetics and processes of reproductive ageing using large scale genomics data is not only important for fertility and family planning, but also has implications for broader health outcomes.

Neuroendocrine tumours – cracking the epigenetic code
Chrissie Thirlwell | Public Lecture

Hear about key developments in the application of integrated genomic analysis in neuroendocrine tumours and find out about the future directions and applications of novel sequencing technology.

Neuroendocrine mechanisms of seasonal adaptation
Valerie Simonneaux | Mortyn Jones Lecture

The annual change in the nocturnal production of the pineal hormone melatonin has long been known to be pivotal for the seasonal adaptation of biological functions in mammals. Valerie will discuss how this melatonin/TSH/T3 signal impacts hypothalamic circuits to synchronize various biological functions with the seasons.

Exploring the neuroendocrine basis of puberty and reproduction: Kisspeptins and beyond
Manuel Tena-Sempere | Alison Douglas Lecture

Attend this lecture to hear examples of major developments and recent findings on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, and to learn about new pathways for further progress in this active domain of neuroendocrine research.
