Here are some of the activities:

11 am
- Court #5- Family Feud- Exhibition match featuring Kelly Arp and her daughter, Kate, against Grace Farrell and her son, Dylan.
Court #4- Nicole Sinclair and Chris Lange will offer games for younger children
12 noon- Court #5- Exhibition match featuring John and Johnny Sinclair against Phil Mercurio and Steve Lehan- four of our top club players and often finalists in our club championships battling one another.
Courts #1 and 2- Joe McNulty and Kathleen McKenna will conduct some interactive tennis games for members and our guests, so make sure you bring your racquet!
1 pm- Court #5- another exhibition match- Paul DeLuca-Aggie Izolt vs.Mark Steinkirschner- Mariellen Walsh
Court #4- Johnny Sinclair will offer a preview of his Fitness Class (see below). If you're looking for a challenge and want to get in better shape, this will be a great opportunity for you!
STC will be offering a USTA Tennis 101 program for adults.  Learn the basics of the game in a fun and relaxed environment. The program includes a one-hour lesson each week followed by a half hour of play time. Classes will be held on Sundays at 1 pm starting on June 4. The cost is $25/session. Kathleen McKenna (sis054@yahoo.com) will be the instructor. Sign-up is on a weekly basis. Contact Kathleen to register or for more information.
University of Scranton varsity tennis player, Johnny Sinclair, will be leading some clinics and workouts this summer at the club. He's planning to offer:
Live-ball play on Fridays from 6 to 7:30 pm starting on May 25 - $20/person- will include different mini games and fun drills
Fitness clinic on Sundays from 1:30 to 2:30 pm starting on June 4- $15/person- tennis drills focused on improving cardio, stamina, and footwork
Match-play clinic for older juniors from 2:30 to 4:00 pm on Sundays starting on June 4 - $70/person for a 3-week session- court awareness, movement, strategy, and other technical skills

CLUB UPDATES
Birchwood Racquet Club is extending special rates to STC members this summer when the courts are unplayable due to rain. Daytime rates remain the same, but from 3 pm until closing on Monday through Friday, STC members can play for $37 per court hour. When you call to book the court, make sure that you mention that you are an STC member. 
Meet Club Pro Joe McNulty at the STC Open House on Saturday May 20th. He will lead interactive games at 12 noon. Coach Joe runs our summer junior clinics along with Kathleen McKenna, John Weiss, and Tiffany Callaio. For more Junior Play Programs info click here. The registration form for the classes is here. Joe also offers private, semi-private and group lessons. Contact him at 570-877-4147 to make arrangements for those lessons.
