The invasive Robert's geranium is in flower at this time of year. It isimportant that we pull the flowers before they scatter seeds. Your help is really needed. It should be a nice day to volunteer in the woods. The more people who help the more we can get done. Reply to this email if you plan to participate on Saturday, May 20

We will be working clearing brush at the far end of FS 5081. It is pretty overgrown and needs to be cleared. Reply to John McNair at john.mcnair@c2ctrail.org if you plan to participate on Monday, May 22
• Work Day Friday, May 26 Hitselberger Ditzie Chicks will lead a work party on the Hitselberger section of the trail, near the coast.
Meet at the Toledo Dairy Queen at 9:00 a.m,
Then meet at Ona Beach about 9:30 a.m. Reply to Connie Atkinson at connieatkinson3@gmail.com if you plan to participate on Friday, May 26.
General Work Party Information Meet at 8:15 a.m. at the northwest corner of the 53rd Street Bi-Mart parking lot.
Depart at 8:30 a.m. and return to Bi-Mart late-afternoon. The drive is about 80 miles round trip.
Wear weather-appropriate clothes (rain gear!), long sleeves, long pants and boots or sturdy shoes. Bring lunch and plenty of water that you can carry to the work location. Bring gloves if you have them. We will supply hard hats, which are cleaned after each use.
If you have not participated in a C2C activity before you will need to complete a waiver form. They can be downloaded from our website, www.C2CTrail.org under "Outings." They can also be signed at the meeting location.
