Update Samenwerkingscontract BC Kimbria en Maastricht Basketbal Holding Ltd

Iets later dan gehoopt hierbij een update wat de samenwerking met Maastricht Basketball Holding betreft. Conform de afspraken gemaakt tijdens de ALV is op 28 april een door Vissers-Legal gecontroleerd en goedgekeurd samenwerkingscontract aan Maastricht Basketball Holding voorgelegd. Deze is ondertussen ook door de juristen van Maastricht Basketball Holding goedgekeurd en we verwachten op korte termijn het contract te ondertekenen. Dat wil zeggen dat vanaf seizoen 2023-2024 een nieuw team onder de licentie van BC Kimbria zal spelen. Het team is ingeschreven in de promotiedivisie en we verwachten deze week uitslag of de NBB de inschrijving ook accepteert.

Het bestuur wil hierbij iedereen die de afgelopen weken intensief aan het tot stand komen van dit contract gewerkt heeft van harte bedanken. Onze dank is met name groot aan Michel en Jorge die de groep geleid hebben.

Update Partnership contract BC Kimbria and Maastricht Basketball Holding Ltd

1. Collaboration with Maastricht Basketball Holding

A little later than hoped, here is an update regarding the collaboration with Maastricht Basketball Holding. In accordance with the agreements made during the ALV (GMM: General Members Meeting), a cooperation contract checked and approved by Vissers-Legal was submitted to Maastricht Basketball Holding on 28 April. This has now also been approved by the lawyers of Maastricht Basketball Holding and we expect to sign the contract shortly. That means that from season 2023-2024 a new team will play under the license of BC Kimbria. The team is registered in the promotion division and we expect the result this week whether the NBB will also accept the registration.

The board would like to thank everyone who has worked intensively on the realization of this contract in recent weeks. We are especially grateful to Michel and Jorge who led the group.

2. ALV 28-06-2023

Op 28 Juni (19.30) vindt de reguliere ALV (algemene leden vergadering) ter afsluiting van het seizoen 2022-2023 plaats. Zet dit alvast in jullie agenda. Belangrijke agendapunt van de ALV is het installeren van een nieuw bestuur (zie ook volgende punt).

2. ALV 28-06-2023

On June 28 (19.30) the regular ALV  (GMM: General Members Meeting) to conclude the 2022-2023 season will take place. Put this in your agenda. An important item on the GMM's agenda is the installation of a new board (see also next item).

3. Bestuur seizoen 2023-2024

Met veel vreugde mogen we jullie meedelen dat zich in de afgelopen weken verschillende leden gemeld hebben om bestuurstaken op zich te nemen. Binnenkort vindt met deze leden al een oriënterende avond plaats. Wil je in het volgend seizoen ook een bestuurstaak of een taak in een commissie uitvoeren, meld je dan z.s.m. bij Christoph Meng (c.meng@maastrichtuniversity.nl) zodat we ook jou voor deze eerste bijeenkomst kunnen uitnodigen.

3. Board season 2023-2024

It is with great pleasure that we can inform you that in recent weeks several members have applied to take on board duties. An orientation evening will soon be held with these members. If you also want to perform a board task or a task in a committee in the next season, please contact Christoph Meng (c.meng@maastrichtuniversity.nl) as soon as possible so that we can also invite you to this first meeting.

4. Afsluiten seizoen 2022-2023

Vanaf 1 juni 2022 wordt alleen nog 1 keer per week getraind. Alle trainingen vinden vanaf dit moment in de Geusselt plaats (met uitzondering van Recreantenteam dat in Amby traint).  Precieze tijdstip van de trainingen wordt door de trainers gecommuniceerd.

4. Closing the 2022-2023 season

From June 1, 2022, there will only be training once a week. From this moment on, all training sessions will take place in De Geusselt (with the exception of the Recreantenteam, which trains in Amby). The exact time of the training sessions will be communicated by the trainers.

5. Teams en trainers seizoen 2023-2024

Onderstaand een overzicht van de teams en alvast bevestigde trainers voor het nieuwe seizoen. Daarnaast vinden momenteel gesprekken plaats met een aantal trainers (in gesprek) maar, zo als je kan zien, zoeken we nog een flink aantal trainers (vacature). De precieze teamindeling wordt in nabije toekomst door de technische commissie in samenwerking met de trainers vastgesteld. Daarna volgt ook meer informatie omtrent het opstarten van het nieuwe seizoen.

5. Teams and trainers season 2023-2024

Below is an overview of the teams and already confirmed trainers for the new season. In addition, talks are currently taking place with a number of trainers (in conversation) but, as you can see, we are still looking for quite a few trainers (vacancy). The precise team division will be determined in the near future by the technical committee in collaboration with the trainers. There will also be more information about the start of the new season.

6. Afmelden als lid

Natuurlijk is dit geen oproep om je lidmaatschap op te zeggen, maar wanneer je door omstandigheden, eindexamen, verhuizing, andere sport of welke reden dan ook, het komend seizoen niet meer bij Kimbria wilt of kunt basketballen, geef dit nu zo snel mogelijk door maar liefst uiterlijk voor 1 juni!

In verband met de samenstelling van de teams in het nieuwe seizoen maar ook om in sommige overvolle teams nog nieuwe leden te kunnen opnemen en om hoge doorlopende kosten voor je zelf te voorkomen, zeg op tijd je lidmaatschap op!

Hier staat wat je moet doen! We willen graag dat je blijft maar als je gaat, zeg tijdig op!

Afmelden na 1 september: dan moet de hele contributie van de club en de bond voor totale seizoen betaald worden.

6. Sign out as a member

Of course this is not a call to cancel your membership, but if you no longer want to or cannot play basketball at Kimbria in the coming season due to circumstances, final exam, relocation, other sport or any other reason, please let us know as soon as possible. preferably before June 1!

Due to the composition of the teams in the new season, but also to be able to include new members in some overcrowded teams and to prevent high ongoing costs for yourself, cancel your membership in time!

Here's what to do! We'd like you to stay, but if you're going, cancel early!

Cancellation after September 1: then the entire contribution of the club and the association must be paid for the entire season.
