Last weekend is a long way in the rear view mirror (thankfully for the Waratahs) but there were plenty of excited Mini and Junior players who had a wonderful experience venturing onto the hallowed Allianz Stadium turf last Saturday night with a few brave chaperones who soaked in the game day atmosphere.

At the match, we had the opportunity as a rugby community to show our love and appreciation of all the volunteers we rely on week in week out, being recognised with unique Sydney Junior Rugby Union caps - worn proudly here by our own Kristen Green.

Not all Pirates are getting the weekend off, some Pirate parents are spending the weekend cheering as boys represent Northern Suburbs Junior Rugby Union in the NSW Junior State Championships. With age groups playing all over NSW. We wish all those participating the best of luck! We know you will do the Pirates and Norths proud.

A date for your Diary - On July 8th Norths Rugby are holding their annual Ladies Day party, you can find more details below. To coincide with Ladies Day our Minis will get the chance to play a game on North Sydney Oval against our neighbours in Mosman on the same day. (Details should have come from your Age Group Manager).
This is a day not to be missed, the Mums get entertained on the hill, the kids get to experience playing on North Sydney Oval and Dads get to watch Norths defeat Randwick on an sunny Saturday afternoon. Lock it in your diary today!
