We had our final rehearsals this week in preparation for the Presenting Denver Dance Festival. We practiced our entrances and exits, moving the chairs off an on and every single step of the choreography countless times. We also renewed our commitment to our Reconnect values, which we bring to every stage we set foot on:
we are in relationship with the audience
we have nothing to prove & so much to share
only we can do what we do
release expectation & perfection
give yourself permission to prioritize your body & your comfort
you are the expert on your own body, no is a complete sentence.
it is never too late to modify, adapt, accommodate
you get a gold star just for showing up on stage. let’s have some fun!
