Sacramento ACT Calls to Action for Resources and Donations for the Recent Migrants Arrivals

The Family Unity, Education, and Legal (FUEL) Network for Immigrants from Sacramento ACT reported that there have been two groups of migrants from Venezuela and Colombia that arrived in Sacramento, the first group on Friday and the second group earlier this afternoon. Mobilization efforts are underway to secure resources and support to the affected individuals while the organization and State gather more information.

Sacramento ACT is part of the FEUL coalition and is a multi-racial, multi-faith organization community-based organization that advocates for racial and economic equity for Sacramento’s neighborhoods.

What you need to know:

· The position is a Student Administrative Assistant III with a $15.75 hourly rate

· Schedule consists of 20 hours per week during the school year; 40 hours per week during school breaks the hours of 8-5pm

· Workplace is hybrid between remote and Sacramento office

· This position is ONLY for UC Davis undergraduate students

What you’ll do:

· Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.

· Maintain supply and equipment inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating, and communicating supply needs.

· Provide scheduling support for CRHD operations and more.
