When last if you had a really good belly laugh?
A couple of days ago I was with two friends, just chatting and having fun. One of us made a little joke, and it wasn't even the biggest joke on this planet Earth, but it was fun enough. We had a bit of a laugh and the joke led to another joke and another joke, and we just kind of decided together to have a good fat belly laugh and we kept laughing for about 20 minutes.
And you know, the beauty of laughter is, it's contagious and it lifts us up and it lifts our spirits. You don't always need a reason to laugh. (I'll tell you more about laughter yoga next time.) If you haven't had a good belly laugh recently, find a friend, find someone, go for a walk and just see the light and the beautiful things and the positivity. And if someone makes a little joke, laugh more than it's really needed and get others to laugh, and let's just have fun together. Because if we laugh together, our bodies get stirred up. We get endorphins, we feel better; we feel the joy, and it's a joyful time if we make it a joyful time.
So there you have it, find reasons to laugh, find the friends to laugh with. Later I'll tell you how you can laugh with no reason at all as well, but first find a friend and laugh with them.
