Since my last newsletter, I have released three more books! Click on the images below to find out where to get your copy.
May 1 was The Fair Way to Share. It is the sequel to Not Fair! but both books can be read on their own. The Fair Way to Share explores the concept of probability with easy to understand language and pictures.
May 15 was Alex's New School. This is the second book in my Keen Read collection of high interest low literacy readers. Alex is a neurodivergent boy who has been homeschooled all his life. But now, he's starting at a new school, and he's feeling anxious and uncertain about fitting in.
June 1 was What Day is Today? This is a fun, interactive book to help kids learn the days of the week and the concept of yesterday, today and tomorrow. The main character speaks directly to the reader, inviting them to become part of the story and guess which day comes next.
Back in January, I released I Don't Think My Cat Loves Me in paperback and ebook. If you bought a copy, you'll notice there's a page of sheet music at the back. Well, in May, I finally got a chance to record the song. (If you follow my Facebook page, you might remember the post about me swallowing a fly mid recording session) I have successfully edited out the fly-choking section and released the song on Spotify. I also turned it into a video using the the images from the book and uploaded it to YouTube.
Last Sunday, I had my first ever market stall to sell my books. It was also the first Sunday market in my little town in years. I had a great time meeting locals and chatting about my books. I've booked a regular spot, so if you're ever passing through Stratford, Victoria on the fourth Sunday of the month, pop in and say hi!
