STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE: KBA BASEBALL PROGRAMMING

Hello, KBA Families. I’m James Moser, your go-to guy for all things programs at Kanata Baseball Association. As Sandi mentioned, we've got programs for nearly everyone in Kanata, thanks to our partnership with Little League Canada and the Ontario Baseball Association (OBA). This means more choices for families within our boundaries. To make things even easier, we've launched a brand-new program selection tool and updated our FAQs to help you find the perfect program for your player and family. Batter up and explore your options!

Right now, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our winning team. We're looking to fill the Director of House position, a crucial role that works closely with me to manage our recreational programs. Together, we'll recruit coaches, plan the season, and keep things running smoothly. It's a high-value role that allows you to make a grand slam impact in your community and have a say in our recreational programs. If you're ready to step up to the plate, shoot me an email at vpprograms@kanatabaseball.ca.

BEHIND THE PLATE
Being a baseball umpire for youth means defending fair and safe play while gracefully dodging rogue foul balls.

Supporting Umpire Development

The Kanata Baseball Association is all about developing the next generation of umpires and nurturing responsible young adults. We're proud to provide employment opportunities and programs that foster personal growth and responsibility. Coaches play a crucial role in supporting our umpires' development, so we encourage coaches to be kind, and spectators to be patient and understanding.
