Learning Rebels has had a busy May - and now it's time for us to get together and get our learning geek on. 

Take time to participate in a couple of Learning Rebels events this week. 

First up - Training Pro's. I'm always happy to host a webinar with the team from Training Pros. They are a stellar group (and if you are looking to contract or freelance, they are a great group to work with - they are always looking for talent and it could be YOU!)

Today's workforce is faced with large workloads and packed schedules and that imposes a barrier to providing the sticky training needed to address a growing skills gap. Enter spaced learning! Utilizing spaced learning techniques to provide reinforcement, such as drip feeding, gives knowledge a greater chance of sticking and provides team members a better opportunity for knowledge application.

Yes, we've heard that before. But let's talk about linguistic styles. We all have them. We all have ritualized conversation patterns. The key is understanding how those styles can both help and hinder us. 

Let’s look at the importance of understanding our different departmental languages, recognizing and appreciating diverse perspectives, and fostering an environment of openness and collaboration and share strategies to tear down the walls of silos and build bridges of communication.
