Juneteenth is a holiday commemorating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States. It started in Galveston, Texas, and is celebrated every year on June 19 across the United States.

Phired Up Partnership Announcement
 
Theta Phi Alpha is excited to announce our new partnership with Phired Up! 

On June 7, 2023, Theta Phi Alpha hosted a Partnership Kick-off, and it was very informative and interactive!

Following the Partnership Kick-off, Phired Up will host a Technology Training on June 27, 2023, for Theta Phi Alpha members to learn about the membership selection tools, ChapterBuilder and MyVote, that we will require all chapters to utilize.

Andrea Wright, a biochemistry major from Plainfield, Indiana, is a Distinguished Student for 2023 from Trine University’s Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences.
and was recognized with other Distinguished Students during the university’s honors ceremony on Thursday, May 4.

Wright graduated summa cum laude and will attend medical school at Indiana University in the fall. She served as president of the Health Science Association, vice president of Theta Phi Alpha sorority, secretary for Order of Omega Greek Honors Society, treasurer for Delight Women's Ministries, and a member of Doctors without Borders.

Alpha Beta Chapter at Loyola University held a week packed with fundraisers in support of Camp Friendship, including their annual Grass Volleyball tournament. They raised over $500 for Camp Friendship! Way to go!
Delta Beta Chapter at St. Joseph's College held a philanthropy at Applebee's where they raised $1,200 to donate towards the John Thessien Children's Foundation, Camp Friendship, and Momma's House. Great job!
