Accenture Workshop |
On Wednesday May 24, iSisters' long-time partner and supporter, Accenture, hosted a workshop for iSisters learners. The workshop introduced learners to the great free resources that are available to them as a result of our partnership. These online learning opportunities cover a wide range of skills, including money management, digital literacy, inclusion, entrepreneurship, and more. Based on learner feedback, this was a really valuable session, and we would like to thank Accenture for this wonderful opportunity. |

Imagine Canada |
|
We are pleased to report that Imagine Canada will be featuring the following statement from iSisters in their upcoming Annual Report in June |
“Imagine Canada accreditation is a key iSisters strategy for promoting and supporting quality assurance, continuous quality improvement, and performance measurement practices. Being accredited identifies strengths and gaps in our programs and processes, improves learner outcomes and mitigates risks, promotes communication and staff/contractor empowerment, fosters a culture of quality and safety, and decreases risk to the organization.” - iSisters Technology Mentoring |

Our Impact in 2022 |
This past fiscal year, we empowered hundreds of women to conquer the digital world and build better lives for themselves and their families.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the amazing instructors, volunteers and members for their dedication, guidance, and unwavering support, and look forward to creating even more impact in the year ahead! |

iSisters Announces New Program | | We are thrilled to offer our iWisdom Program for women 55+, in need, who due to the current economic climate, are seeking employment and who require the computer and employment skills training to be successful. We also realized during COVID-19 that many seniors lacked the computer skills to navigate on-line resources, physician portals, financial and housing applications, etc. This program is meant to provide training so they can access those community supports.
A curriculum is currently being developed with feedback from several women 55+ who are already enrolled in other iSisters programs. | |

Meet Jaden Levesque - Volunteer |
| Since August 2021, Jaden has brought her excellent design skills to a variety of iSisters projects. She guided us towards a new, modern brochure, as well as helming the creation of new, expanded Partner Kit, to support iSisters' new and existing partner organizations.
When not volunteering with iSisters, Halifax-based Jaden is busy with photography, graphic design and video editing work - despite doing her Undergraduate Degree in Kinesiology!
The support she has provided so far has been instrumental in taking iSisters' promotional material to the next level, and we look forward to seeing what beautiful creations she designs next. Thank you, Jaden! |
