The BIOP Leadership team recently convened to discuss the openly hostile climate toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals and the potential impact on the upcoming conference. We are closely monitoring the situation, working with the conference committee to explore contingency plans, and evaluating alternative venues should the situation not improve.

We value your input and involvement in this process. We encourage open dialogue, suggestions, and feedback from all members, stakeholders, and potential conference attendees.
