Business Events – Q1 2023 results
With Q1 under their belts, the Business Events team have distributed 163 RFPs generating 75,234 potential room nights with approximately 30,565 delegates. Read all the latest business events news, trends, and results in the team’s Q1/23 round-up here.
 
The team will be in-market over the next few months showcasing the destination to key European markets at Canada Week in London, under the Destination Canada umbrella. Closer to home, we will be hosting a client event with high quality buyers in Toronto coinciding with CMEE.

Visitor Reminder: Best way to travel in Banff National Park is car-free
The best way to experience Banff National Park is to plan ahead and leave the car behind. We are encouraging visitors to park in designated all-day parking lots or at their hotel, and use transit, tours and shuttles, or walk and bike to get around.
  • NEW: How to visit Moraine Lake, a short video that provides your guest with all they need to know to experience this iconic location.
  • explorethepark.ca is the best source of information for visitors coming to and travelling around Banff and Lake Louise. The site includes information and resources on transit, tours and shuttles, parking and the best ways to move around.
  • Connect with our Visitor Services team if you, your guests or your team have questions on the best way to get around. We are here to help! Connect via live chat, phone, text or email.
  • Guided experiences are a great way for visitors to explore the destination. Many tour and private transportation operators in the park offer hassle-free experiences with knowledgeable guides that include popular destinations, such as Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.

Join mindfulness teacher, Trish Tutton for a 90-minute session to help leaders manage stress and avoid burnout.

From Captains to Supervisors and Managers, this workshop will explore what it means to be a mindful leader. This is an experiential presentation offering strategies for managing stress for your team and yourself. Participants will take away tools to address accumulated stress and support mental wellbeing and resilience within their teams.
