Summer is quickly approaching!  Special music is needed for the summer services.  If you can play piano, an instrument, sing a solo, or sing with a small group, or perhaps provide a dance it would be appreciated.  Let MariJane or Scott know which date(s) you would be willing to assist.
The prayers of God's people...
Introducing the "Prayer Bowl". Prayer is how we communicate with God. In I Thessalonians 5:16 we read...Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. God wants to pour out His blessings upon us. God requires our partnership. It is important to pray without ceasing. It is prayer that allows God to move His hand. Prayer is how we communicate with God. Our call is to pray. Bring your prayers before God. Write it down and place it in the Prayer Bowl...It will be taken to the Altar where your prayers will be prayed upon. Pray from the heart...This is your personal prayer and is between you and God. Paper and pen will be provided for you to write your personal prayer. Or write your prayer at home and bring it to church and place in the prayer bowl. The prayer bowl will be located in the lounge on the table of interest in the alcove...On Sunday mornings the bowl will be placed on the Altar. Seek and keep seeking.
Truly, St. Peter's Abundance Team
Please remember to wear your name tags!

FROM THE HOLY SCRIPTURE
Psalm 8

For the music leader. According to the Gittith. A psalm of David.
Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name throughout the earth!
You made your glory higher than heaven
From the mouths of nursing babies you have laid a strong
    foundation
because of your foes, in order to stop vengeful enemies

When I look up at your skies, at what your fingers made—
the moon and the stars that you set firmly in place—
    what are human beings that you think about them;
what are human beings that you pay attention to them?

You’ve made them only slightly less than divine,
crowning them with glory and grandeur.
You’ve let them rule over your handiwork,
    putting everything under their feet—

all sheep and all cattle, the wild animals too,
    the birds in the sky,
    the fish of the ocean,
everything that travels the pathways of the sea.

Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name throughout the earth!
