Rock Painting at Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site


BISMARCK, N.D. – The Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site will be hosting a free outdoor rock painting event June 6, 1-3 p.m. Rocks and paint will be provided, but participants are also welcome to bring their own. Cookies and lemonade will be served. School groups and summer camps are encouraged to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Former Governors’ Mansion, located at 320 East Ave. B, Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free. The mansion is currently open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 12-4 p.m. Additional upcoming educational programs sponsored by the State Historical Society of North Dakota can be found at history.nd.gov/events.
