In efforts to raise money to run extreme candidates against us in the next election, the fanatical Idaho Freedom Action group gave D19 an “F” for our support of schools, health care, and human rights in the 2023 session.
However, it’s the fanatics and GOP party bosses who are failing - failing Idahoans by attacking teachers, banning books, criminalizing pregnancy, and driving physicians away from the state. We voted with Idahoans and voted for common sense solutions, and for that we’re not sorry – we’re proud.
(On HB 369, the Medicaid budget, we voted no because GOP members cut millions of dollars of necessary funding for Idahoans that rely on Medicaid, which leaves a huge gap in funding).
I am committed to fighting for common sense policies that help every Idaho have the opportunity to succeed. I will continue to reject harmful legislation and protect every Idahoan's rights.
