Join us for Krasman Centre's Virtual Annual Information Meeting & 25th Anniversary Celebration


We are pleased to announce the Krasman Centre’s Virtual Annual Information Meeting is on Thursday, June 22, from 2:00 - 4:30 pm. This virtual event will reflect on our 2022/2023 achievements, celebrate our 25-year history, and feature guest speakers who have significantly contributed to the Peer Support movement.

Our peer support groups provide a safe space for people experiencing mental health and/or addiction challenges to share, be heard, and uplifted by others. We strive to maintain a warm and welcoming environment and foster mutually supportive relationships that empower recovery, personal growth, and social action.


All virtual groups are held online via Zoom. Participants will receive the Zoom meeting link information after registering. If you wish to register by phone, please call 416-303-2629.

Consumer Survivor Initiatives (CSI) Representatives Across Ontario Gather
at Queen's Park


On May 8, Peer Works hosted an Education and Awareness Day at Queen's Park at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to discuss the importance of Peer Support within the mental health and addictions sector. MPP Jamie West, MPP Lisa Gretzky, Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Hon. Michael Tibollo and Allyson Theodorou, Operations Director for PeerWorks spoke about the essential role Peer Support Workers play in the continuum of care in a person’s recovery journey.

Join Krasman Centre at York Pride Parade!

Happy Pride Month! Krasman Centre is proud and committed to providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming space to the 2SLGBTQI+ community! In honour of Pride month, Krasman Centre will participate in the York Pride Parade on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at 3 pm in Newmarket. Please join us to walk, dance or wheel down the street with your peers, partners & Krasman Centre peer supporters!

Alliston Drop-by Centre

Alliston Drop-by Centre is back at 17 Paris Street!

We are excited to announce the Alliston Drop-by will be operating out of 17 Paris St., starting Tuesday, May 30th. Please note at this time we are providing front door service. Stay tuned for more information about our official re-opening in mid-June!

The Alliston Drop-by offers visitors access to: 

  • Peer support, system navigation, resources and referrals 
  • Harm reduction resources and supplies
  • Wellness items (limited quantities available)
  • Personal care supplies
  • Light refreshments

Operating Hours: 

Tuesday: 10 am – 3 pm, Wednesday: 12:30 pm- 3 pm and Friday: 10 am-3 pm.

June 21st marks National Indigenous Peoples Day, to honour and celebrate the history and cultures of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada. We take this time to recognize and celebrate the resilience of all Indigenous Peoples and their vibrant and distinct cultures and to learn about Indigenous histories, strengths, and significant contributions. Krasman Centre acknowledges and is committed to sharing the truth and working towards healing and reconciliation with Indigenous communities.
