Building Connections
There are just a few weeks to go until we celebrate the Class of 2024 at Commencement but the end of the semester is a distant thought for our teams who are currently preparing for a busy weekend of late season and championship competition.
Those late season triumphs and postseason challenges can be a lot for student-athletes to handle as they simultaneously focus on finals and completing the semester. However, those same moments of stress and excitement can often leave lasting memories that bond teammates for life.
We have seen and felt that same connection from so many of you throughout the year, from the support on game days from parents and friends, to the support of our entire community on Blue Nation Giving Day, and most recently from the alums that generously volunteered their time at this year’s LeadBLUE alum networking event (pictured above).
We also look forward to seeing many of you at Reunion! As you return to campus to reconnect with teammates and friends, we encourage you to join Friends of Athletics for a fun night of storytelling on Friday, May 24 (details below) as we look back on the “challenges and triumphs” that have forever connected you to your teammates and to Wellesley.
