I love receiving pictures and comments from students that have used my online courses from the Lutherie Academy to build their instruments. Here is an email I received recently from a student.

Hi Robbie!
Hope all is well! I wanted to show you two more ukulele that I built recently since taking your online course with Jay Lichty.
So these two ukulele have no hole on the soundboard and double side sound holes like my Oahu Ukulele Guild of Hawaii friends are doing. One ukulele has a Kasha derived bracing system and the other is a fan brace pattern. I built the two ukulele at the same time with the same woods (different ornamentations) so that I could try to compare the results between the two bracing systems. I’ll record a side by side demo soon of the two ukulele and send you the link so that you can hear them!
