The Foundation for Jewish Heritage has just released two extensive reports exploring the potential of Jewish Cemeteries in Eastern Europe as an educational resource and as tourist destinations. INTERVIEW WITH HUGUES DE BAZELAIRE, STONEMASON AND SCULPTOR SPECIALISING IN BUILT HERITAGE RESTORATION
Hugues de Bazelaire has more than 50 years of experience in the restoration of sculptures and stonework of monumental buildings. The Louvre or the estate of Versailles have been some of its most renowned clients. Now he is working on the restoration of a statue of Saint Louis at the Chapelle Royale in Dreux.
