The Nominations and Elections Committee, chaired by Nancy Ruddy, PhD, is pleased to announce the following elections results:

Congratulations to the newly elected officers and appreciation to all the candidates for their willingness to serve the Society!

Graduate Students/Trainees are eligible to receive a free year of professional membership in the Society for Health Psychology for 2024 upon completion of their degree in 2023. A dissertation advisor (or co-advisor), internship supervisor, or fellowship supervisor who is a current member of the Society can gift a free membership to graduating students.

To gift this benefit, the advisor/co-advisor or supervisor must complete a brief nomination form - easily accessed below.  Completed forms are to be scanned and emailed to apadiv38@verizon.net.

As our colleagues begin their careers as health psychologists, we hope this initiative provides them with new opportunities to engage with and contribute to the Society.

The SfHP website now features a page for members to post and search for new jobs and fellowships!

This feature enables our members to share announcements of new opportunities in health psychology and simplifies the search process for applicants. It also reduces the volume of posts on the listserv.  We ask that all jobs and fellowships be posted to the SfHP website.

The Student Advisory Council is accepting applications for the following positions:

• Chair-Elect

• Education & Training Chair

• Health Research Chair

• Communications Chair
