During the dinner, our Platinum Partner, Patterson's Nursery, was able present the Milan Athletics Department with their $500 Partnership Grant. We are so grateful to have such great community partners!

2023 Scholarship Recipients

Our 2023 scholarship recipients were also recognized at the Annual Dinner for all of their hard work!
We congratulated the 2023 Corinne's Believers Memorial Scholarship recipients, Sylvia Eckstein and Gracen Wagner! Each of these ladies will receive a $2,000 scholarship to attend Aveda Fredric’s Hair Institute in West Chester, Ohio to receive their cosmetology license.
The 2023 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipient, Madison Rahschulte, was recognized for her achievements, as well as the Lilly Finalists for this scholarship, Ariel Haessig, Thomas Hartman, and Luke Jackson.
We also heard a message from Emily Meyer, our 2022 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipient, about what this scholarship has meant to her.

Turnover Hunger is BACK!
The Batesville and Milan Varsity Football Teams are teaming up to Turnover Hunger in our local elementary schools! Ripley County has an estimated 690 students in need of food on the weekends. In 2022, we were able to serve 210 students for 18 weeks. The need is still great, so join us to make a difference!
To participate in Turnover Hunger, you may pledge a dollar amount for each turnover the Batesville &/or Milan Football Teams force or make a flat donation to support the program!
At the end of the season, all pledges & donations are collected and granted to Batesville Primary School, Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, South Ripley, and Sunman Elementary Schools. These funds support the Weekend BackSack Program, which sends a backpack of food home with students that otherwise would not be provided food on the weekends.
