Important Notices:

In 2023, RVYC celebrates its 120th anniversary. We’re not as old as many of you, but we are very proud to be a Royal Yacht Club and member of the ICOYC family.

I was Commodore of the Royal Van when Chuck Lowry, late ICOYC Board Member and Staff Commodore of Seattle Yacht Club, asked me if our club would host this event. RVYC was one of the ICOYC’s founding member clubs; RVYC’s Staff Commodore Heinz Rautenberg was the first ICOYC President; and RVYC held the first ICOYC Forum in 2005. Our Board of Directors was honoured to receive the invitation and we look forward to welcoming you back to Vancouver.
Regards,
Brian W. Angus
