“Confluence Trail Walk” Planned at Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center
WILLISTON, N.D. – The public is invited to the free History and Nature Lecture Series program “Confluence Trail Walk” Sunday, July 18, 11 a.m. Central time at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center near Williston.
The one-half mile guided walk is along part of the trail at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center. It begins at the Interpretive Center and proceeds westward to the cemetery near Fort Buford State Historic Site. The trail consists of asphalt pavement, grassy areas, and gravel. Participants should bring water. A notebook to record details of the walk and binoculars are recommended.

The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is part of Fort Buford State Historic Site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. CT.
