In tactile tours, the emphasis is on touch and tactile exploration. Participants are encouraged to physically interact with objects, replicas, or tactile displays that represent the artifacts, artworks, or architectural features present in the location.

SOCIAL AUDIO DESCRIPTION COLLECTIVE

Audio description, or more precisely visual description, is a form of narration used to provide information surrounding key visual elements in a media or live work for the benefit of consumers who are accessing by sight. This includes blind and visually impaired participants.

Submersible and Billionaires Discourse

After news of the missing submersible spread, social media saw a range of reactions. Some users posted humorous and satirical observations about the situation, while others took the opportunity to make anti-capitalist remarks.

Maiamama

Maiamama had an active week as she adjusts to being at work. Makeup Monday was a chaotic session where we played with colors and talked about beloved tv shows being removed from streaming services and corporate greed. Watch the replay here. On Gaming4Justice Maiamama looked over and tried to learn how to code a points system in Twine, the free software that she uses to make video games. Watch the replay here. One Free Community

This week’s pride planning and promotion in other communities and social medias was the main focus of many of the members! Cooking with Kay is happening today to bring island food into everyone’s homes. random hangouts to watch shows together! parallel work to keep out sanity. The community is helping us produce pride, either by volunteering at the event, sharing links to queer history, or promoting our accessible event!  Go community! Family Fun Time

We had a great time at Family Fun Time playing Zoom games with Rome, doing a scavenger hunt, and answering Pride Trivia questions. Thanks to everyone who came!
