Adoption Fees Still Waived this Summer at Animal Shelter

The paw-tay is still on! 

The Forsyth County Animal Shelter is hosting a beach-themed, summer-long adoption event until September.  

During this event, the shelter’s $85 adoption fees for all animals will be waived. Find out how you can add a furry companion to your family this summer!

Public Hearings Scheduled to Allow for Public Input on Millage Rate

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners announced its intention to maintain the County’s Maintenance & Operations, Fire and Bond millage rates currently in place with no change.

Citizens are invited and encouraged to attend the public hearings.

Scott Adams Named Director of Water & Sewer

Scott Adams has been named Director of Water & Sewer, and he brings 29 years of experience in consulting engineering practice, specifically focused on water and wastewater infrastructure.

Adams has worked with the County in a consulting capacity since 1994, working on more than 30 Forsyth County Water & Sewer infrastructure projects.
