Everything is growing fast and starting to bear fruit. We meet at the Community Farm or the Community Orchard in Poundbury on Sunday afternoons at around 2pm
and also on
Wednesday mornings at 10.30
Most things are now planted out, so we are watering and weeding. Lots of scything to do in the orchards, grass collected and compost to be made. We are mostly trying to keep nature at bay, but enjoying it when we can't - plenty of birds, bees, butterflies and other insects to observe.
Green drinks is back!
We will meet at Tom Brown's, 47 High East St on Tuesday 18th July at 7.30.
Come and have a chat with like-minded people.
Midsummer scything - we cut so much grass with seven of us working. We are planning another scything evening, possibly 11th July.
All welcome!
Bring your broken items and see if our volunteers can fix them, and save them from landfill. Check the Dorchester Repair Cafe facebook page for the July date.
