Last week shattered the record for highest sales day in Cafnation Farmers Market's 20 year history, and this week we're going to do it again! With over 20 vendors and guest booths, you will find food, fun, friends, and whatever you need to feel good this summer!
Thank You Sponsors!
Between staffing, permits, rent, signage, advertising, compensating artists, and covering the essentials of our food access and enrichment programming, it costs a lot to run a farmers market! We are grateful to our sponsors, who help us to help the community. Next time you visit one of these local businesses or organizations, say thanks for supporting our local hub where eaters, farmers, artists, nature lovers, and people from all walks of life connect.

Carnation Farmers Market's 2023 Music on the Grass
Concert Series
Tuesday July 18th, at Carnation Farmers Market
Tonal Recall
(3:00 to 4:45pm)
Tonal recall is Betsy and Gerry, Farmers Market favorites, both from Duvall. You’ll hear original acoustic music and popular covers. You may even hear one that makes you ask, where do I know that song from?
Mysterious Fatmen (5:00 to 7:00pm)
Describing themselves only as "Mysterious and Phat", it is not recommended to imitate what they do because - as they say - it's hard to rock as rock hard as they rock.
If you need insurance coverage for this onslaught of shocking electric guitar riffs and thunderous drum rhythms, talk to Jeff Warren at State Farm.
Music on the Grass Presented by Jeff Warren State Farm Special thanks to 4Culture and Supporting Sponsor Duvall Foudation for the Arts
Last week's results are in: It's a bumper crop of cherries this season (and for oranges and bananas, you'll have to head down the street to IGA/Carnation Market 😄🍊🍌)
PoP Kids Club Power of Produce This week's activity: Connections
This week's PoP Kids Club lesson will be about connections and how the market connects us! We’ll write our own names down and who came with. We’ll look for the names of friends and draw “runners” or “shoots” to their names. We’ll also add vendor and volunteer/staff connection centers. What kind of produce plants send out runners?
New activities every week, and a $2 token to spend with local farmers!
If you haven't been to PoP Club yet this season, you can register online and save time, or you can do it the old-fashioned way by heading to the PoP Club table when you arrive at Market. See you there!
Delight your palette by making art at farmers market. Here's a sample of some of the results from last Tuesday's art activity...

In addition, they promote green stormwater management solutions throughout the valley by educating the community and installing rain gardens, cisterns and rain barrels.

Carnation Farmers Market supports the Snoqualmie Tribe Ancestral Lands Movement: We acknowledge that our market operates on the Indigenous Land of Coast Salish peoples who have sovereign, inherent Tribal rights to this land, specifically the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe (sdukʷalbixʷ). We thank these caretakers of this land who have lived and continue to live here since time immemorial.
How do I honor the land and those who live here?
Be mindful: Respect the land by picking up after yourself and your pets, and stick to designated trails.
Adopt an attitude of reverence: Engage with the land mindfully, appreciating its natural balance, rather than seeking to conquer it.
Educate yourself: Learn more about the Snoqualmie Tribe, their history, and present-day practices.
Acknowledge the land: Recognize that you are enjoying time on Snoqualmie ancestral lands, in both word and action.
Spread the word: Encourage others to learn more about the land and acknowledge its sacred significance to the tribe(s).
