REMINDER: Woodland Heights Meeting 7/18 @ 6:30pm

The Woodland Heights Organization will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, 7/18, at 6:30pm on the top floor of Scottish Rite Park. Please note the 6:30 start time, which is now the regular start time for WHO monthly meetings.

Neighbors are invited to arrive as early as 6:00pm for a meet-and-greet social 1/2 hour before the meeting. The meeting will be held at Scottish Rite Park (2909 Woodland Ave.) on the top floor.

Check out the "Notable Women of Early Des Moines" Woodland Cemetery Tour to learn how our city's history and culture was shaped in a multitude of ways by its pioneer women.
Woodland Heights is collaborating again with The Avenues and Eater Greater Des Moines to grow salsa gardens along Ingersoll. Green onions around the edges are ready for harvesting, and it won't be long for the tomatoes and peppers!
