Mid-Month Update

Tukuskoya Constitutent Campout
Come and enjoy the beauty of Camp Tuk, August 18 - 20. The weekend begins Friday at 2 p.m. with dinner. Sabbath is a morning of worship, haystack lunch (bring chips and toppings) and afternoon boat rides ending with a hotdog dinner (bring buns, dogs and chips). Sunday entails a pancake breakfast, camp workbee and auction to raise funds for a new motor for the camp pontoon boat. Call or text 907-317-4122 to reserve your overnight stay. AKC At State Fair
Alaska Adventists will be onsite at the Alaska State Fair August 18 through September 4th. The focus is health--physical, mental and spiritual--and volunteers are needed to staff the booth. Women's Retreat
Participate in a weekend of Bible study, worship, bonding and reflection at the Women's Retreat at Camp Maranatha August 25-27. Introduction and Meet & Greet starts at 3 pm with the weekend concluding Sunday afternoon. Registration and payment ends August 13, 2023.

Pathfinder Camporee
The fall Pathfinder Camporee will be at the Pioneer Peak campground in Palmer beginning September 8 at 3 pm and ending mid-day Sunday. If your club is attending, connect with John Winslow, youth and young adult director for the conference, to ensure you receive updates.

Sabbath School Alive!
Mark your calendars for Sabbath School Alive! Training September 15 & 16 at the Northside Church in Anchorage. Join speakers Jim Howard and Joe Reeves, Director and Assistant Director of Sabbath School & Personal Ministries for the General Conference of SDA, as they provide information on revitalizing your Sabbath School. Although the focus is specifically for adults--young and older--there is something that can be learned and applied for all ages. Made To Move 2023
Register now for the Made To Move, 5K run/walk event, Sunday, September 17! You choose the time and place for the 5K run/walk event, hosted by the North American Division Health Ministries. The registration fee of $25 includes a t-shirt and medal, plus access to the reporting portal to submit your time. Five dollars from each registration will be donated to Holbrook Indian School in Holbrook, Ariz. Invite church members and friends to register!
