1. Παρέμβαση της AOPA Hellas για τις χρεώσεις για GA/BA Lounge

Μετά τη διαρροή πληροφοριών σχετικά με τη χρήση GA/BA Lounge κόστους 4.000 ευρώ, η AOPA Hellas ήρθε σε επικοινωνία με τη FRAPORTζητώντας διευκρινίσεις για τα αεροσκάφη της Γενικής Αεροπορίας. Ακολούθησε διαδικτυακή συνάντηση ανάμεσα στο προεδρείο της AOPA Hellasκαι τον COO της Fraport, κ. Παναγιώτη Σπυράτο, κατά την οποία δόθηκαν οι απαραίτητες διευκρινίσεις, σύμφωνα με τις οποίες για αεροσκάφη έως 1,7 τόνους ΔΕΝ θα χρεώνεται το GA/BA Lounge των 4.000 ευρώ αλλά η συνήθης χρέωση. Όπως προέκυψε από τη συζήτηση, πρόκειται για παρανόηση από την πλευρά των Handler η οποία αποκαταστάθηκε μετά την παρέμβαση της AOPA Hellas και τις διευκρινίσεις της FRAPORT.

Ο Άρης Πορτοσάλτε κάλεσε τον Διοικητή της Αρχής Πολιτικής Αεροπορίας, Χρήστο Τσίτουρα, στον ΣΚΑΪ 100,3 για την απόφαση της ΑΠΑ να αναστείλει τις εξετάσεις των υποψήφιων πιλότων. Η απόφαση έχει προκαλέσει τη θυελλώδη αντίδραση των σχολών αλλά και των σπουδαστών οι οποίοι δεν έχουν τη δυνατότητα να εξεταστούν για τα πτυχία τους.

3. Το χρονικό μιας προαναγγελθείσας «εξάντλησης». Έκλεισε το αεροδρόμιο Σύρου.

Σύμφωνα με την ιστοσελίδα skiathoslife.gr, στις 21 Ιουλίου το αεροδρόμιο της πρωτεύουσας των Κυκλάδων έκλεισε λόγω «φυσικής εξάντλησης» του μοναδικού υπαλλήλου συγκεκριμένης ειδικότητας, γεγονός που αναδεικνύει το μεγάλο πρόβλημα της υποστελέχωσης των μικρών περιφερειακών αεροδρομίων.

6. Έρχεται η 11η Athens Flying Week

Η Athens Flying Week, το μεγαλύτερο αεροπορικό υπερθέαμα της Ανατολικής Μεσογείου επιστρέφει με ακόμη πιο εντυπωσιακές ελληνικές και ξένες συμμετοχές! Το F-16 Dream Viper από το Βέλγιο, το «κόκκινο» F-16 Dannebrog 800 από τη Δανία, το γαλλικό Rafale Solo Display, οι Ελβετοί PC-9 Team, οι Ισπανοί Patrulla Aguila, οι Saudi Hawks και το Typhoon Solo Display από τη Σαουδική Αραβία και πολλές ακόμη εκπλήξεις σας περιμένουν στις 2 & 3 Σεπτεμβρίου, στην αεροπορική βάση της Τανάγρας ενώ αναμένεται η επιβεβαίωση για τους Al Fursan από τα ΗΑΕ και το F-35 Solo Display από τις ΗΠΑ! H AOPA Hellas προτρέπει τα μέλη της που αντιμετωπίζουν αρνητική συμπεριφορά από εντεταλμένους υπαλλήλους ή άλλα όργανα των υπηρεσιών εδάφους των αεροδρομίων μας, και που αμφισβητούν ή θίγουν το νόμιμο δικαίωμα των μελών στις πτήσεις τους, να καταγγέλλουν τέτοια περιστατικά. Η ΑΟΡΑ Hellas διερευνά τις περιπτώσεις που έρχονται σε γνώση της, προκειμένου να τις παραπέμψει στις αρμόδιες ελεγκτικές Αρχές για την αναζήτηση ευθυνών και την επιβολή των νόμιμων κυρώσεων, όπου απαιτείται.
Αν δεν είσαι ταμειακά ενήμερο μέλος, σε καλούμε να ξαναγίνεις ενεργό μέλος μας γιατί έτσι βοηθάς κι εσύ την προσπάθεια μας. Όσο περισσότεροι είμαστε, τόσο πιο δυνατή είναι η φωνή μας. After the leakage of information regarding the cost of using the GA/BA Lounge at 4,000 euros, AOPA Hellas contacted FRAPORT seeking clarifications for General Aviation aircraft. A virtual meeting followed between the AOPA Hellas board and FRAPORT's COO, Mr. Panagiotis Spyratos, during which the necessary clarifications were provided. According to these, for aircraft weighing up to 1.7 tons, the GA/BA Lounge will NOT be charged the 4,000 euros but the regular fee. As emerged from the discussion, there was a misunderstanding on the part of the Handlers, which was resolved after AOPA Hellas' intervention and FRAPORT's clarifications.
2. Report of SKAI 100.3 on the suspension of exams by decision of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA)

Aris Portosalte invited Christos Tsitouras, the Director of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA), to SKAI 100.3 to discuss the decision of the HCAA to suspend the examinations for aspiring pilots. The decision has caused a stormy reaction from aviation schools and students who are now unable to take their certification exams.

According to the website skiathoslife.gr, on July 21, the airport of the capital of the Cyclades closed due to the "physical exhaustion" of the only employee in that specific position, highlighting the significant issue of understaffing at small regional airports.

The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) proceeded with the establishment of the National Committee for the Avoidance of Bird and Animal Strikes on Aircraft.

6. The 11th Athens Flying Week is coming
September 2 & 3, 2023
Athens Flying Week, the largest air show in the Eastern Mediterranean, returns with even more impressive Greek and international participants! The F-16 Dream Viper from Belgium, the "red" F-16 Dannebrog 800 from Denmark, the French Rafale Solo Display, the Swiss PC-9 Team, the Spanish Patrulla Aguila, the Saudi Hawks, and the Typhoon Solo Display from Saudi Arabia, along with many other surprises, await you on September 2nd and 3rd at Tanagra Air Base. Confirmation is also expected for the participation of Al Fursan from the UAE and the F-35 Solo Display from the United States! The Airshow will also feature the flying assets of the Greek Armed Forces, including the Rafale, F-16 Viper, Mirage 2000-5, F-4 Phantom, and Spitfire, as well as the F-16 ZEUS and T-6 DAIDALOS!
