Quarterly Newsletter | 2023 Summer

Happy Summer 🏆

As we headed into summer break this year, we were riding the wave of excitement of a second consecutive NCAA championship for our Blue Crew team. The team, excited to return to campus after their victory, was greeted by alums equally as excited to be on campus for reunion and to celebrate the excellence of our current student-athletes.

It was a beautiful example of the role that athletics plays on campus and the goals of Friends of Athletics, which has been dedicated to the continued excellence and growth of Wellesley College's athletic and recreational programs since its founding. Each of you, parents, friends, families, supporters of Wellesley Athletics and Recreation are an important part of our community and like the alums that welcomed home our crew team, we thank you for your continued support of our athletics and recreation programs.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and we hope to see you at a Friends of Athletics event or cheering on your favorite team soon.

Go Blue!
