Hello!
Thank you for the overwhelming response and congratulations on my book, 21 Mistakes Caregivers Make & How to Avoid Them: Solutions and Strategies to Reduce Stress and Increase Happiness. I also appreciated the many well wishes and encouragement for managing my health challenges. I want to share an update on both and will start with the book and a request for support.

I am looking for book launch team members to help ensure this essential caregiver resource reaches caregivers needing guidance and support.

Please follow the link, https://spotlightpublishinghouse.com/toni-gitles-book-launch-team, and choose:

Please invite others in your network to join and support the launch. Thank you in advance for your support as a fellow caregiver advocate!
Shifting gears to a health update, last month I underwent five Intravenous Immunoglobulin Therapy (IVIg), treatments for myasthenia gravis (MG). These treatments involved several hours of transfusion each day. I tolerated the treatments well and am hopeful for positive results.
I recognize these treatments as important self-care to help manage this rare disease. I also realize that the progression of the disease may mean that I may reach a point where I would no longer wish to or be able to travel.
I am motivated to live life to the fullest, create lasting memories and make the most of the present, as you can see from this photo where I was thoroughly enjoying a lobster roll on a recent trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
On a mission to make happy memories and last month, my care partner, Dennis Dulniak, and I voyaged on the Queen Mary 2. This excursion was a true bucket list cruise, and we had a wonderful time.
We combined work and play on this trip and attended a Lions International Conference where we participated in the Lion’s Braille Press Book Assembly service project. Watch us work here, Lions and Leos assembled braille books at #LCICon2023. We were honored when Dennis received the Lions Legacy Society pin.
Dennis and I at the 105 Lions International Convention at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Dennis and I carefully prove QC (quality control) to assure the 38 pages had the printed and accompanying Braille sheets.
We also visited the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in NYC, where we received an exceptional reception! For more information about this incredible organization and how to support the mission, go to alzfdn.org.
In more exciting news, I've been selected to be one of the speakers at the Women Loving Life Summit with Kathryn Yarborough, happening August 25 – 26!
Be sure to save the dates. It's going to be an extraordinary summit! If you can't make it live, that's okay. You'll be able to get the VIP Bundle that includes all the replays and the awesome VIP Gifts from all the speakers. Look for more information to follow, including sign up details.
