Sorry to send yet another email to you all, but there are some impending local road closures that may be of interest to many of you, plus there is an update on the travellers at Pyrford Common Recreation Ground.
 
LOVELACE DRIVE PYRFORD
Lovelace Drive is being closed to through vehicular access to allow for pavement repairs between 8am to 4pm for 2 weeks from Monday 31^st July between Onslow Way and  Weston Way (recorded as from outside number 66 to the junction with Weston Way until 14^th August)

BASINGSTOKE CANAL BRIDGE SHEERWATER ROAD WEST BYFLEET
The  current Surrey County Council Website is showing two closure notices both for bridge deck works on the Sheerwater Road bridge over the Basingstoke Canal.

One, issued on 26th July and updated on 27th July 2023, is for 24 hours for the period 7^th August to 1^st September 16:00.

The other, issued on 4^th May and updated on 25^th July 2023,  is from 10am to 4pm from 31^st July to 1 September  16:00.

It is believed the first closure notice is correct.

TRAVELLERS ON PYRFORD RECREATIONAL GROUND
Woking Borough Council Officers have visited the site and a notice to leave is expected to be served this afternoon (Friday 28^th July 2023) .
