South West Tafe Tailgators Murray2Moyne Fundraiser
|
|
|
|
South West Tafe Tailgators selected Loved & Shared as their charity partner for the Murray2Moyne cycling relay. The Tailgator team embarked on a 240km ride over 3 days, raising $4,500 and building awareness of Loved & Shared!

Rotary Club of Warrnambool Daybreak Long Lunch Fundraiser
|
|
|
|
The Rotary Club of Warrnambool Daybreak selected Loved & Shared as their charity partner for their annual Long Lunch event, raising over $8,000 for Loved & Shared!

|
Warrnambool College Merri House
|
|
|
This year the Merri House at Warrnambool College chose Loved & Shared as their local philanthropic charity. On Friday 21st July, Merri House held a pyjama day at school and sold homemade curries and baked goods to raise money and awareness for Loved and Shared, raising over $3,000! Next they plan to host a mobile donation bin to coordinate a donation drive at Warrnambool College.

Green Futures NOW Winter Clothing Donation Drive
|
|
|
|
Green Futures Now Youth Leaders coordinated a community donation drive, collecting over 60kg of much-needed warm winter clothing for Loved & Shared!
|

Wannon Water Donation Drive, Fundraisers & Tours!
|
|
|
|
Wannon Water have been tremendous ongoing supporters of Loved & Shared! Employees hosted a workplace fundraiser raising $300 for Loved & Shared, they've sent employees out for group tours to learn more about our work, and were 'early adopters' of our mobile donation bins, collecting and returning a bin full of amazing donations within a week!

Gateway Church Donation Drive

|
Gateway Church coordinated a donation drive on behalf of Loved & Shared, collecting an abundance of baby and children's items over 3 weeks, while raising awareness of our organisation!

Inner Wheel Warrnambool Donation Drive

|
|
|
Inner Wheel Warrnambool members coordinated a donation drive, collecting much needed baby and children's toiletries and feeding accessories!

Our Lady Help of Christians School
|
|
|
|
60 year 4 students from Our Lady Help of Christians School visited our warehouse for a tour as part of their 'Blue Marble' project, an environmental inquiry encouraging students to think and act sustainably. Since the tour, students have been undertaking tasks based on their learnings at Loved & Shared, with plans to coordinate a donation drive on behalf of Loved & Shared!

Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre
|
|
|
Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre is an amazing local resource and supportive community for mothers and families. The centre recently donated a generous supply of brand new breast pumps with accompanying lactation support gift voucher, ensuring mothers not only have the resources they need but also access to essential support.
|
|
|
Since January we've diverted 5565kg of donated goods from landfill! Thank you to our generous community for your donations. Keep them coming! Book a drop-off session.

Since May we've distributed 189 gifts to families across our region! Our valued partnerships with social welfare organisations, support agencies, and maternal and child health services make our work possible - thank you. If you'd like to access our service to support your clients, register here.

Have you noticed our bright donation bins in Woolworths Warrnambool stores? We’re so pleased to partner with Woolworths Warrnambool stores to bring donation collection to you! Add ‘Loved & Shared’ to your shopping list and donate purchased baby and children’s items in to the yellow bins after you’ve been through the check out.

Our Regional Need
20% of the population aged 0-8 in the region are considered vulnerable on 1 or more of the 5 critical childhood development criteria, this is significantly higher than the state average.
We aim to save 3+ tonnes of good quality items going to landfill every year.
Local data from four LGAs (Warrnambool, Moyne, Southern Grampians & Corangamite), confirm that 1 in 5 children live in poverty.
