You’re Invited to the Lanierland Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony


Join Forsyth County as we celebrate the amazing work done at Lanierland Park! A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, to officially unveil the park’s new amenities which include sports fields and courts, a Miracle League Field, all-inclusive playground, walking path and so much more.

Animal Shelter Asking Residents to Adopt and Foster


The Forsyth County Animal Shelter is calling on county residents to adopt and foster animals as the shelter nears its care capacity and adoption rates have decreased about 10 percent. The shelter currently has over 50 dogs and 180 cats and kittens looking for their forever homes.
