PROJECT SPOTLIGHT!
Where do we even begin with this recent two-stage facelift for a customer in Lewis Center? The homeowners were ready for an updated look and contacted CJE to help from concept through implementation. In addition to replacing the cedar siding and repairing trim and chimney damage, our team built out a new profile for the porch and removed the outdated halfmoon accents above the windows. We decided on a fish scale for the statement gable. The big statement, however, comes from the striking new Marvin Ultimate Wood windows. We custom ordered the windows to match the stain of the interior with a crisp ebony exterior. The transformation is stunning both inside and out. Feeling inspired after this renovation, the homeowners also added new landscaping and soft exterior lighting, a fire pit, and a new deck to truly increase their curb appeal and create an outdoor living space they enjoy.

A Spotlight on Upper Arlington...
This month we are spotlighting the beautiful community of Upper Arlington! Upper Arlington has a rich history and is beloved for the many beautiful, historical homes that make up the city. To honor that history and encourage the preservation of historic homes, Upper Arlington is celebrating “Homes of History” throughout the month of August! Look for oval “100” yard signs in more than 200 yards across Upper Arlington this month. These signs designate homes built prior to 1923 that have mostly retained their original facade. Many of these homes are examples of revival architecture, such as Cape Cod Revival and Dutch Colonial Revival.
This celebration of historical architecture makes us happy at CJE Restoration! We love to use our historical expertise and experience working with HOAs and historic commissions to help homeowners preserve and enhance their homes. We work hand-in-hand with our clients to complete repairs and renovations that make it possible for these historical beauties to shine for years to come.
